Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has received what some people described as a cold greeting from his teammate, Bruno Fernandes at the Portuguese camp.

The Manchester United Vice skipper greeted Ronaldo in a considerably less cordial manner than may be anticipated, perhaps reflecting a spillover from their well-publicized spat with Manchester United.

Naija News recalls that the Portuguese skipper has dominated social media with his explosive interview with broadcast Journalist, Piers Morgan which was released on Monday morning.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner accused Manchester United of betraying him and blasted two out of three managers he played for at Old Trafford.

He claimed he wasn’t respected by Erik Ten Hag and that Ralf Rangnick was not meant to coach the club as an interim manager.

However, he also criticized the club’s facilities and said they had slipped behind Manchester City and Liverpool in the football hierarchy. He also voiced the opinion that the club had “betrayed” him.

In the video released on the Portuguese official social media page, Fernandes entered the locker area and Cristiano Ronaldo extended a hand to him but the facial expression is majorly what is causing reactions.

Prior to their flight to Qatar, the Portugal captain wanted to welcome his club and international teammates.

After joining up with the national team on Monday, Fernandes, United’s de facto vice-captain, seemed to find faults with the Interview made by his teammate as he welcomed Ronaldo rather coldly.

As Fernandes passed Ronaldo to place his luggage in the locker next to his, he grabbed hold of Ronaldo and tried to turn aside to face the other players in the changing room.

The obstinate forward was left there, seemingly perplexed as to why he had just been almost ignored by his club and international teammate.
