The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed on Tuesday declared that everyone in his state is a ‘Buharist’ – a term used to describe supporters and loyalists of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Naija News understands Mohammed made the declaration during his speech at the flag-off of the Kolmani Integrated Development Project in Bauchi state.
The event marked the official exploration of crude oil in the northern part of Nigeria, which was discovered at the bother of Gomber and Bauchi states, both in the northeast.
As earlier reported by Naija News, the event was attended by President Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and many top government officials.
While declaring that everyone in Bauchi is a Buharist, Mohammed added that the people of the state would vote for any candidate the President wants them to vote for.

Following the declaration, President Buhari and the Chairman of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign council, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State smiled.
The Governor is one of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders not favourably disposed to the ambition of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
I Am Supposed To Be With The G5
Recall about two weeks ago, the Bauchi State Governor disclosed that he was supposed to be with the five aggrieved Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also referred to as G5, but he was ex-communicated.
According to him, he can confide in them because he shares a lot in common with the PDP G-5 Governors.
Naija News reports that the aggrieved G5 governors led by the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike were in Bauchi State to visit their counterpart.
Bala who spoke before a closed-door meeting with the G5 governors said he was glad they had come to visit him because he has shared with them some of his fears and problems confronting him in the state.
