A former Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Roland Owie, has urged the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to urgently invoke disciplinary measures against five governors of the party who have constituted themselves into “Integrity Group”.

The governors are Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Sam Ortom of Benue State.

Owie, a National Executive Council (NEC) member of the PDP, in a statement in Benin, described the governors as “these unruly PDP Governors”.

In the statement titled “Enough is Enough for the 5 Governors and Bode George”, he said “It is sad that Bode George who enjoyed PDP Victories in other states but has never won any election for PDP in L agos State since 1999, a supposed Elder of the Party can now be aiding and abetting indiscipline in PDP.

“I urge the PDP in Lagos State to take disciplinary measures against Bode George immediately. PDP leadership should remember that Governor Wike and Governor Fayose encouraged my friend, Distinguished Senator Modu Sheriff to come into the PDP, an action that led PDP to coma. Thereafter they brought Secondus and when the eyes of Secondus were opened by The Holy Spirit he distanced himself from them.

“Today Governor Fayose cant win a House of Assembly seat in Ekiti. The Word of God says, “Pride comes before a fall”. I urge the PDP Leadership to invoke disciplinary measures urgently against these unruly 5 PDP Governors.  Enough is Enough, because only God gives power”, the statement added.
