A former Governorship Aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state, Chief Daniel Eke has said the battle for the party’s gubernatorial battle was not yet over, warning Dr Uche Ogah and Chief Ikechi Emenike against rejoicing over parallel court judgments in their favour.
Eke said it was too early to rejoice over who is the authentic Governorship candidate of the party in the state.

A statement issued by the DG of Chief Eke’s Campaign Organization, Hon Endy Ogalabu, said, “We observed that the supporters of the candidate are ignorantly jubilating without being cognizant of the reality on ground due to the party’s controversial parallel governorship primaries.
“To us in Chief Daniel Eke’s Campaign Organization, this is a public show of indiscretion and desperation, which ultimately may again translate to celebrating an imminent stillbirth.
“In case they are unaware or pretend to have forgotten, that the legal battle is far from over. We, therefore, wish to draw their attention to the suit instituted at the Appeal Court, Owerri Division, by our principal and Governorship Aspirant of the party, Chief Daniel Eke”.
Eke said the parallel primaries organized by both Ogah and Emenike’s factions, ridiculously produced the two of them as winners.
“It is therefore too early for Chief Ogah to have staged a public display of jubilation for verdict that may not survive the crucible of the upper court”.
