NBA Recap: Warriors return to winning ways

The Golden State Warriors returned to winning ways by claiming an impressive 123-110 win over the Miami Heat to improve their record to 3-2 in the NBA this season. The champions had lost their previous match to the Phoenix Suns.

Steph Curry led the scoring for the Warriors with 33 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Klay Thompson contributed 19 points and Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points and ten rebounds. Jimmy Butler scored 27 points for the Heat and Bam Adebayo recorded 26 points.

The Dallas Mavericks needed OT to defeat the Brooklyn Nets 129-125 in their NBA clash. The Mavericks claimed only their second win of the season as the Nets lost for a fourth time this season.

Luka Doncic led the scoring for the Dallas Mavericks with 41 points and 11 rebounds on the night. Kyrie Irving scored 39 points and Kevin Durant scored 37 points for the Nets.

The Memphis Grizzlies claimed a 125-110 win over the Sacramento Kings to ensure that the Kings have lost all four of their NBA games this season. The Grizzlies improve to 4-1 after the win.

Desmond Bane led the scoring for the Grizzlies with 31 points and Ja Morant scored 22 points. DeAaron Fox scored 27 points and Harrison Barnes scored 20 points for the Kings.

Oklahoma City Thunder claimed a 118-110 win over the Los Angeles Clippers for only their second win in the NBA this season. The Clippers have also now lost three of their five games this season.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the scoring for the Thunder with 24 points as Luguentz Dort contributed 21 points in their win. Norman Powell scored 21 points, and Reggie Jackson scored 18 points for the Clippers.
