The Division of State Safety (DSS) has denied invading the headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Abuja.
The DSS made the clarification by way of its X web page on Thursday, September 8, 2024.
The terse assertion learn: ”Please kindly word that the Service (DSS) didn’t perform any operation on the NLC workplace in Abuja.”
Recall that the NLC had alleged that armed safety males in uniform and mufti invaded its headquarters on Wednesday, September 7, 2024.
”They broke into the second flooring and ransacked books on the bookshop carrying all of the supplies into their van and claiming that the supplies have been used to incite and organise the latest protests,” the NLC wrote on its X web page.
