The Kano State Authorities has lifted the curfew imposed on the town following the #EndBadGovernance protests, as normalcy steadily returns.
The choice comes after violence rocked the town, ensuing within the destruction and looting of property price billions of naira.
In a press release launched on Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s Fb web page on Monday, his media aide Salisu Yahya Hotoro introduced the lifting of the curfew.
“The 24-hour curfew imposed on Kano has been successfully lifted as peace has fully returned to the town,” the assertion learn.
Initially, a 24-hour curfew was imposed to include the state of affairs, which was later relaxed to six:00 am to six:00 pm to permit for enterprise actions.
