2024 Edo guber: PDP rejects peace accord, APC make U-turn

The Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) in Edo state, Thursday, pulled out of the peace accord signing forward of the September 21, governorship election within the state.

This was simply because the All Progressives Congress (APC) who earlier introduced that it might not be get together of the train, reversed its resolution and dedicated to the peace deal which held in Benin Metropolis.

Chairman of the APC, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, informed journalists that their fears had been allayed by the peace committee and the Inspector Normal of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
