Coach Bankole Olowookere has introduced his 21-player squad for Nigeria’s Flamingos forward of the FIFA U17 Girls’s World Cup within the Dominican Republic. The staff contains Captain Taiwo Afolabi and high scorers Concord Chidi and Peace Effiong.

Chidi was excellent through the qualifiers, scoring 13 of the staff’s record-breaking 25 objectives as Nigeria breezed previous Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, and Liberia.

Midfielder Taiwo Afolabi will lead the Flamingos engine room, supported by Faridat Abdulwahab, Shakirat Moshood, and Ayomide Rotimi. First-choice goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma will face competitors from Sylvia Echefu and Elizabeth Boniface.

The protection can be marshaled by Taiwo Adegoke alongside six different defenders, whereas Concord Chidi leads a robust attacking lineup, which incorporates Peace Effiong.

Nigeria is in Group A for the 16-nation match and can face the host Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and New Zealand.

The staff will depart Nigeria on October 1st for a two-week coaching camp in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic’s capital.
