A sequence of bomb blasts have rocked communities within the Dansadau District of Maru Native Authorities Space of Zamfara State.
In keeping with eyewitnesses, no less than two explosive gadgets believed to have been planted by bandits went off at separate areas within the Dansadau District. The blasts occurred on the highway between Dansadau and Malamawa and one other on Malele Street, all within the Dansadau district.
A resident, Nuhu Babangida, recounted how the passengers in a Canter Truck escaped dying after the truck, loaded with grains, ignited one of many bombs.
Babangida mentioned the truck was going to the Dansadau weekly market on Friday when it ran over the bomb. He mentioned the passengers escaped with out hurt, and revealed that the blasts on Malamawa and Malele roads went off concurrently.
That is the third explosion in 5 days within the Dansadau Emirate, with earlier incidents occurring on Sunday and Wednesday.
On Wednesday, no less than 12 folks had been reportedly killed when an explosive blew off a bridge at Tashar Sahabi. The victims had been travelling in an overloaded Golf automotive to Gusau from Maru Native Authorities Space of Zamfara State when the incident occurred at about 8 a.m.
The police command within the state is but to touch upon the incidents.
