50-year-old man leads nephew’s kidnap, will get N200,000 out of N13m ransom

Ado Haruna, 50, has been arrested by the police for main the kidnap of his nephew, Bashiru Anas and his household in Kaduna state.

Haruna, resident of Unguwar Kanawa, Dutse Abba was mentioned to have obtained M200,000 out of a N13 million ransom which was paid to the gang for the discharge of the victims.

Parading the suspect, the Drive Public Relations Offucer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi mentioned the abductors obtained N13 million alongside 4 bikes and Airtel recharge playing cards value N300,000 as ransom.

In keeping with Adejobi, the suspected kidnap crew lead led three bandits, particularly, Shago Yaro, Tanimu Ayuba, and Lamido Dantajiri, to the residence of his nephew Anas at about 1 am.

He mentioned that the criminals upon invading the home realised that their goal was not at residence.

They went forward to abduct his two wives, three kids, his youthful brother, and his brother’s spouse.

Having held the victims of their enclave in a forest between Buruku and Sabo Birni for 60 days, Haruna described Anas as his son.

He mentioned, “I’m a farmer and a vigilante. It’s true that I led the bandits to Alhaji Anas’ home.

“Anas is my son – my nephew. I do know one of many bandits who requested me to point out them Alhaji Anas’ home,” Haruna added.
