The Lagos State Home of Meeting has suspended plenary indefinitely following the invasion of the meeting by operatives of Division of State Companies (DSS) on Monday.
The plenary was suspended following the presence of the DSS on the meeting premises.
Blueprint had reported that the safety operatives locked the speaker and deputy speaker’s workplace earlier than the beginning of the plenary session.
In the course of the plenary session, the lawmakers addressed the safety breach and handed a vote of confidence on the Speaker, Mojisola Meranda.
