Sole Administrator in Rivers State has resigned.
PoliticalNews Nigeria studies that Goodluck Ihemnacho, the administrator of Ahoada East Native Authorities Space in Rivers State, has formally resigned from his place.
He was one of many 23 native authorities directors appointed by the state’s Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.).
In a resignation letter dated June 20, 2025, Ihemnacho defined that he was stepping right down to return to the personal sector.
The letter, which has been broadly circulated on social media, expressed his gratitude to the Rivers State Authorities and the folks of Ahoada East for the chance to serve from April 11 to July 20, 2025.
Though Ihemnacho cited private causes, there’s hypothesis that his resignation could also be linked to plans to take part within the upcoming native authorities elections, though this has not been formally confirmed.
