The remains of Nneoma Bridget Onyejelubechi Chime (Nee Onyia) have been laid to rest at her husband’s compound, Ikunuino village in Udi local government area of Enugu state.
Late Nneoma was a fervent Christian who severed God in various capacities as a chorister, church warden, Guide and Mother’s Union as well as a pioneer members of St. Stephen Anlican Church, Udi.
In his tribute, the first son of the deceased, Chief Leonard Chime, described Nee Onyia as a woman of peace, who through her good deeds led many to Christ.
Also speaking, Mrs. Violet Owo who was short of words to describe her mother, said that late Nneoma was a kind, loving, peaceful mother who raised them in the way of the Lord.
Eulogizing her mother, Mrs. Ebere Joy Chime (Nee Onyima) said that Ifeoma as an awesome mother that can never be replaced.
Nee Onyima described her as an epitome peace, who trained them to love and respect people.
Reaffirming the sterling qualities of late Nneoma, Mrs. Josephine Eze, (Nee Chime) described her as an embodiment of love who lived at peace with everyone and went out of her way to ensure the wellbeing of her children and those around her.
Nee Onyia passed unto to glory at age 104 and survived by 4 children, and many grand children.
