The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the killing of 9 kidnappers within the Ladipo space of the state.
PUNCH On-line gathered that the abductors have been trying to abduct somebody on Thursday when the police foiled their operation.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the event to our correspondent, including that the suspects have been killed throughout a gun duel with the police.
He stated, “The abductors have been neutralised throughout a gun duel with the police. The abductors have been 9 in quantity and so they wished to abduct somebody at Ladipo when the police foiled their operation. The incident occurred round 8 pm on Thursday.” Weapons, bullets and Military uniforms recovered from the abductors
Footage of the corpses have been sighted on a petroleum car on the command headquarters within the Ikeja space of the state.
The recovered gun, bullets and Military uniforms reportedly recovered from the suspects have been additionally sighted by our correspondent.
